Since its founding in 2009 by Jarrett A. Perry, CPA, CGMA, the firm has grown by delivering proactive tax planning, strategic financial guidance, and highly personalized service. From the beginning, our vision has been simple: combine the technical expertise of a large accounting firm with the responsiveness and personal attention of a boutique practice.

After beginning his career in a Big Four accounting environment, Jarrett Perry founded Perry CPA Group with a different vision for client service. Rather than treating accounting as a once-a-year transaction, he believed clients deserved a trusted advisor who understood their financial goals and provided proactive guidance throughout the year.
As the firm expanded, Jarrett invited longtime colleague Michael B. Merritt, CPA, to join the practice. Together, they combined decades of tax and accounting experience with a shared commitment to personalized service and technical excellence.
Today, the partners bring more than 40 years of combined Certified Public Accounting and tax experience, helping clients navigate increasingly complex financial and tax matters with confidence.
